Big day for nurses

CGHS celebrated International Nurses Day on Friday 12 May with an afternoon tea in the cafeteria.

Nurses displayed photos and stories of their nursing adventures from around the world.  From eye care in Vanuatu and cleft palate repair in India to paediatric cardiac surgery in Iraq, the experiences were vast and interesting.

It was great to showcase not only the opportunities available to nurses but also the experience and expertise of our nurses here at CGHS.

Director of Nursing and Clinical Support Services, Denise McInnes, thanked everyone for their hard work and congratulated everyone on their dedication to nursing and CGHS.

Pictured are some of the photos on display and our staff celebrating the occasion.
