Students

Four Central Gippsland Health (CGH) staff recently spoke at an event to inspire and broaden students’ thinking regarding work in the health sector.

ANUM CCU, Zac Harrington, Occupational Therapist, Jessie Duncan and Clinical Support Nurse, Sussie Nayaran were invited to speak at the event hosted by Gippsland East Local Learning and Employment Network to increase the knowledge of options regarding work possibilities for students in a range of fields based on careers in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics).

The CGH staff were asked to share their journey so far in terms of study and practical experiences, and the wider possibilities in their respective fields. Jessie and Sussie talked to young women from several local secondary schools, while Zac presented to young men in smaller group discussions and activities.
