The Alfred Health/Central Gippsland Neurology Clinic is a joint collaboration between the health services to provide sub-specialist neurology care closer to home for patients in the region. It consists of five senior neurologists and nurse specialists, each with different sub-specialty expertise; Kelly Bertram (movement disorders), Andreas Pattichis (epilepsy), Michael Zhong (neuroimmunology), Tharani Chandran (stroke) and Jason Ray (headache disorders) alternating to provide a hybrid weekly clinic (face to face and telehealth).
These annual awards, held during Alfred Week each October, enable Alfred Health to recognise the superior performance of its people through staff nominations and executive level judging processes and allows us to reflect on what excellence means to at Alfred Health.
